Member Benefits

As a standard member, you'll enjoy a focused reading experience with an average of two carefully selected articles per month, posted every other Thursday. Each article release is accompanied by an email notification so you always know when new content is available. In addition, you'll receive an essential monthly round-up email that highlights our latest articles, along with news and trends from both our community and the wider world of homesteading.

Our Horizon THRIVE membership is available for an enhanced content experience, with weekly releases every Thursday (including free member articles). The Horizon THRIVE tier includes an additional THRIVE-exclusive article every two weeks that explore specialised topics in greater depth, including hand-picked suggestions for ideal products and services, extended how to guides and much more. THRIVE members benefit further from a more expanded version of our monthly round-up email, featuring additional insights, detailed analysis of recent innovations, and extended coverage on news and trends relevant to the homesteading lifestyle.

We are also proud to introduce our new membership tier, the Contributor. With all the THRIVE features included, this premium subscription enables users to add their very own segments to our articles each month, as well as feature their own author page on Homestead Horizon which is fully customisable.

The Story So Far

I’m Joe, Founder of Homestead Horizon. Although I do not yet have a full-fledged homestead of my own, over the last few years I have been transforming my small back garden into a thriving permaculture set-up. My dream is to one day own a fully developed homestead, whether near my home here in the UK or elsewhere in Europe. I have gathered invaluable insights and knowledge on the topic of homesteading from many books, online communities, and content creators over the years, as well as through conversations with likeminded individuals from all walks of life. I hope that this platform can be a space for us all to learn more from one another through the great power of community, and help us on our journeys towards a greener, more peaceful future.

Thank you for joining us on this adventure. Your interest and engagement help create a space where learning is shared and growth is nurtured. Welcome to Homestead Horizon. Together, let’s thrive in a more sustainable and relaxed way of life.
